07 Oct Providence Country Weddings – the perfect country romance
Providence is an absolutely stunning wedding venue situated on the Old Curry’s Post Road about 10kms from Nottingham Road. It is all that a little girl dreams of for the perfect country wedding with it’s quaint chapel draped in climbing Ivy, misty pine trees surrounding the buildings and the country charm and romance in every detail of a dream wedding day. Providence is full of style and elegance, a venue where you can create incredible memories that will last a lifetime.
Everyone knows that women are absolutely obsessed with weddings and get sucked into the romance of all it. There is no shame in this as I believe that women are made to be wooed and romanced, treated like the queens we are. We, as little girls, dream up and plan our wedding day for years on end with all the beautiful details in mind. All there is left to do is slot in the perfect soul mate and all is good to go. My dreams of a perfect wedding day really began to take shape in my teen years. I grew up on the Midlands and as a teen girl I waitressed at Providence. At wedding after wedding that I served at I would see how seamlessly Kevin and Fern, the owners, pulled off the perfect wedding day. No dramas to be seen in sight. I watched in awe at the glamorous brides and always wished that I could someday have my wedding at this magical place.
Four years later I met my dream man and four years after that my dream of my own magical wedding at Providence Country Weddings came true. It was a spectacular day full of love, laughter, fun and endless joy. Providence was the perfect choice for us and was all I imagined it to be as teenager and so much more. I just wish I could repeat that day again. Kevin and Fern run your wedding with such ease, they keep you relaxed and everything is always under control, it all runs like clockwork. They are flexible to your needs and your budget but also know exactly what works on the day. Having run the venue for 16 years they have all the experience you need. There is no real need for a wedding planner at this venue because they will suggest all the best local suppliers that you need on the day. Overall a very stress free experience, allowing you to really relax and enjoy your wonderful wedding day.
One of the things that makes this venue so special is the attention to detail that they show you, they spoil you rotten and think of every last detail that will make you comfortable and happy. During photographs they will bring ponchos and sherry to keep the bridal party warm and merry. After the shoot Fern will come and clean your satin bridal shoes. Every last detail is thought of and attended to.
Providence can cater for up to 160 guests and have all the facilities in place to offer the full wedding service. With their exquisite gardens, the venue is extremely versatile and can easily be adapted for different themes and decor. Be it a formal, classic, casual or country theme they have the setting and the scenery to create your dream wedding.
I have found that wedding food can often be quite disappointing but Fern seems to have this down to a tee. Her individual attention guarantees a perfectly prepared and presented meal, from re-creating Granny’s favourite dish to a sumptuous buffet feast. They have awesome harvest tables, fresh canapes and their celebrated wedding cakes and decadent desserts provide the grand finale. A sight to behold that will impress any wedding guest. Whatever the weather holds on the day Providence has got you covered. If it is a misty and cold Midlands day then the photographs will be terribly romantic with shots of misty smooches in between tall and majestic pine trees. After your shoot you can warm up next to their crackling log fires. If it is a lovely warm day then you can frolic in the fields and have a lazy game of lawn croquet. For the perfect country wedding that will leave you with joyful memories that will last a lifetime then book your wedding at Providence Country Weddings.
