The development is extremely low impact and low density, with only half of the 23 hectare property being developed. The floodplain, wetland and river will forever remain untouched, in line with our philosophy of making the natural environment a high priority. Several spaces have already been transformed to reflect what we believe captures the essence of the Midlands and the beauty that surrounds Giant’s View Estate but we have left the choice with you.     Giant's View Estate is superbly positioned on tar roads in the quiet hamlet of Rosetta, just 1.5kms along the Kamberg Road, in the the heart of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands. The Drakensberg Mountains, a World Heritage Site, are situated a mere 25 minutes away. Giant’s Castle is an easy 55 minutes drive and a regular favourite for avid hikers. The Kamberg and Highmoor Reserves, situated close by, have a host of trout waters; both still and running, and are well known for their mountain biking and walking trails. The Meander is also replete with top class restaurants, golf courses, art and décor shops and some of the best schools in the country, all in close proximity to Giant’s View Estate. The wall of the new Springrove Dam is only 3 km away as the crow flies. This major new dam will supply Durban and Pietermaritzburg and is likely to provide a range of new recreational opportunities.

    Ready for business. The developers have recognized that for the fast paced business person connectivity is a high priority and various options will be made available to home owners. There is also consistent cell phone reception. The estate is a mere 10 minutes from the N3 Mooi River Toll Plaza, providing the ideal linkages with Johannesburg and other surrounding cities. We are situated only 45 minutes from the City of Pietermaritzburg and its airport, which has regular flights to O.R. Tambo International. All sites have easy access to the floodplain and the Mooi River for trout fishing, walking, canoeing and wildlife. Included in the development will be the rehabilitation of the wetland and a bird hide will be built at the small dam on the property. Access control and security are in place giving us an ongoing security presence, achieving a safe and secure living environment without being too obtrusive.
