Barbz Cafe is a wonderful, cozy, coffee shop located at the Gowrie Village in the heart of Nottingham Road. This is the spot where locals grab their morning coffee and hang out on their comfy couches for a catch up breaky or settle in for a morning at the ‘coffice’. There is a warm, welcoming atmosphere as they extend their country style hospitality to all their customers. Their decor is a mix of bright colours and antique collectables giving the cafe a quirky, fun atmosphere.
Barbz Cafe is open daily for breakfast, lunches and afternoon tea treats. They have a lovely menu with a large selection of delectable meals to choose from. There are loads of breakfast options including some interesting choices like their Huevos Rancheros breakfast, a plate of spicy tomatoes, eggs, mozzarella and guacamole and their creamy spinach, chorizo and poached egg breaky. The lunch menu is pretty comprehensive leaving you with a meal choice dilemma. Lunches include homemade pies, soups, salads, toasties, curries, pizzas, pastas and more. They even cater for the banting dieters among us with tasty meals like their brinjal and black mushroom burger and the fiery thai beef salad.
They also have freshly baked goods laid out every day, including delicious croissants, carrot cake, decadent brownies and cheesecakes. This is a great spot for those afternoon tea and cake cravings that tend to creep up on us ever so suddenly.
