17 Aug The CoffeeSmiths – flying ahead with fine coffee
The CoffeeSmiths is a new treasure of a coffee shop hidden away in the Meander Square in the heart of Nottingham Road. They have only been open for a few months but are already making their mark by being named Cafe of the Week by the Coffee Magazine as well as winning over the hearts of the Notties locals. If you consider yourself a coffee connoisseur and are always on the lookout for a great new coffee spot then you need to check this one out.
The CoffeeSmiths are run by a husband and wife team who are super passionate about coffee and aviation and they have managed to combine these two passions to create a wonderfully unique retro vibed coffee shop. Rose, the owner and barista, takes the art of coffee making very seriously and puts heart and perfection into each cup. They have a beautiful antique propeller which is the centerpiece of their decor, a vintage record player and Route 103 images throughout showcasing Mike’s passion for flying and giving this coffee shop rustic, retro flair.
They have three different coffee blends on offer which are sourced from all over the world. The Ironmunger beans are sourced from Uganda, the Aviator from Ethiopia and the Gentlemen blend from Nicaragua. As of the 10th of August, The CoffeeSmiths are now roasting their own beans on site, giving them the edge on fresh coffee beans which have their own unique style. They also have fresh goodies to pair with your coffee like fresh chocolate croissants and cinnamon buns as well as nibbles available for the banters in our midst.
The CoffeeSmiths have a retro tuk-tuk where they take their barista skills on the road for various events. So give them a call if you need some delicious coffee for your weekend event on the Midlands.
Head down to The CoffeeSmiths for a relaxed atmosphere with couches to chat and laze on or tables to settle into for a morning at the coffice. For great coffee and warm, friendly service then check out The CoffeeSmiths. You won’t be disappointed.
