The Mooi River Golf Course has 11 holes with 18 tee boxes and a par 72, with a 71 rating. Even regular golf players will, no doubt, be challenged by this course, but there is certainly room for beginners or those just looking for a relaxing day spent in the beauty of the Natal Midlands. Mooi River Club is part of the esteemed Nedbank handicapping network.

Sakabula Golf Course
Located just off the N3 Toll Route (exit 99), Sakabula is an 18-hole par 73 golf course, consisting of two very distinct and contrasting 9’s. View the Drakensburg mountains while playing the first nine, and enjoy the bird life around the wetlands of the second nine.
Sakabula Golf Course is situated only 2kms off the N3 Highway and just 20kms from Pietermaritzburg, it provides a country escape with panoramic views of the Drakensburg and surrounding mountains. Gowrie Farm Golf Course
Gowrie Farm Golf Course is a 9 hole course, designed by Guy Smith, an attorney from Pietermaritzburg. Guy is passionate about classic design and is heavily influenced by the old courses of Scotland and some of the courses built in the United States in the early 1900’s.
Gowrie Farm has an exciting, traditional course, which is fun for the average golfer, but tough for the low handicapped golfer to post a good score. Gowrie Farm Golf Course has been ranked 49th in the country, ranked top 20 most fun courses to play in South Africa and also ranked 4th best short course in the world outside of USA (Golf Digest USA 2014).
