08 May Stacks O’ Fun at Checkpoint 103
We recently visited Checkpoint 103 Activity Hub to check out what they had in store for my very active kids. The question looming on my mind as we contemplated our visit was, “Did they have what it takes to tire out my super energetic, sporty, 7 year old son?”. With a 3 week long holiday (emphasis on long), one battles to find things to keep kiddies entertained, or to give parents a much needed break, albeit for a couple hours at a time. So we headed on over to Checkpoint 103 and it was definitely an awesome find.
As we soon as we arrived my kids started getting stuck into the various activities. Their eyes lit up as they took in all the fun adventures, they could finally unleash all their pent up energy from the car journey there. They started with the indoor play area, which is great for smaller kids, with jumping castles, trampolines and bike track. They had a blast zooming around the bike track and then quickly moved on to the next activity. With so many fun ventures to explore, the race was on.
The main outdoor area has a cool jungle gym and obstacle course and this is also where they do the Zorb Ball and Bubble Soccer. All the activities are are overseen by a group of guys who assist the kids so you don’t need to lift a finger, just get stuck into your coffee and enjoy the laughs. The Zorb Ball was the highlight of the outing, kids are able to get inside this massive rolling ball and tumble around the grassy area until they are too dizzy to handle any more. After defeating the obstacle course and tumbling around in many overly sized balls, it was on to the next adventure
The next activity was the outdoor bike track, full of cool ramps and obstacles bumps, this was something that was sure to tire them out. After grabbing some quick refreshments at the Fuel Cafe the kids were back to starting the cycle again!
Checkpoint 103 also have a whole lot of activities suitable for older kids and adults. There is an amazing go-karting warehouse where they have Epic Karting, an awesome go-karting track with epic ramps. They also have a paintball range in the their woody forest as well as a target shooting area for the trigger happy among us.
Checkpoint 103 Activity Hub was definitely an awesome outing for my family, the kids were well exhausted by the time we left and I was satisfied knowing they would go to bed early that night. This is a fantastic spot to keep the whole family entertained, young and old. A wonderful spot for a fun-packed birthday or a corporate team build. Let them sort out all the party details, while you get all the glory for a event well planned!
